Description:  Oak Ridge Intermediate Principal 24/25 The Camdenton R-III School District is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Building Principal for Grades 5-6. As the educational leader of Oak Ridge Intermediate School, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment while ensuring the academic success and personal growth of our students. Qualifications: The Camdenton R-III Oak Ridge Principal shall: Possession of a valid Missouri Principal Certification or eligibility for certification Demonstrated leadership experience in a school or district Strong understanding of education principals, including curriculum development, instructional practices, and assessment practices Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to effectively interact with students, staff, parents, and community members Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and academic success Reports to: Superintendent of Schools Duties and Responsibilities: Provide visionary leadership to the Oak Ridge faculty and staff, promoting a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Oversee the implementation of curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices that align with state standards and best educational practices. Manage the day-to-day operations, including student discipline, scheduling, budgeting, and facilities management. Support the professional growth and development of teachers through coaching, mentoring, and professional learning opportunities. Utilize data-driven decision-making processes to monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement targeted interventions as needed. Assign teachers and other employees, in the building, to such duties as are necessary to maintain the proper control of pupils and to ensure proper use of buildings, grounds, equipment, and supplies. Maintain adequate records of student activity funds, lunchroom funds, or any other funds handled by self and/or teachers or classes, and shall make reports to the Superintendent concerning receipts and expenditures. Make all requisitions for supplies, books, equipment, furniture, etc. needed in the building. Shall be responsible for inventories and budget estimates as directed by the Superintendent. Attend all regularly scheduled administrative meetings called by the Superintendent of Schools. . Perform other duties as assigned by the district administration. Terms of Employment: Eleven month (226 day) contract with salary and work year to be established by the Board. Sick leave will be allowed as provided in Board of Education Policy Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000
