Resume:

How do I create and post a resume on MO Teaching Jobs?

You can create and post your resume after registering an account "Here". While logged in you can create your resume by clicking "Your Resume" on the MO Teaching Jobs navigation bar, or by clicking "Resume" at the bottom of the page.

Building your resume
To build your resume, go through each of the sections on the left and fill in as much information as possible. Several pages are only required for teaching positions - most are required for all applications. When you apply for a position, you will be prompted to provide any information that you haven't already completed here, as well as to answer any additional questions related to the opening itself.

Uploading your materials
This option allows you to upload your existing resume, documents, photos or text files so employers can access, view, and print your resume or related documents.
Note: In order to upload materials on MO Teaching Jobs they must adhere to our acceptable file formats and file size limits.

    • Adobe PDF (.pdf)
    • JPG image (.jpg, .jpeg)
    • MS Word document (.doc, .docx)
    • Text file (.txt)

The maximum file size for any uploaded material file must not exceed 50 MB

How can I update my resume?
After you complete the initial resume steps, you can view your entire resume by clicking on "FULL RESUME" on the left navigation or at the bottom of the page. At this point you can quickly view and edit individual sections and add more career-related information.

Who will see my resume?
Any participating institution may view your application.

How can I confirm that my resume and cover letter have been submitted?
Once you have applied for a position you will receive an automatic copy of the email sent to the school district you apply to.

How do I search for jobs on MO Teaching Jobs?
Start by clicking "Job Search" on the MO Teaching Jobs navigation bar, or by clicking "Job Search" at the bottom of the page. From here you can pick the part of the state you wish to work in. select your search criteria in the following three drop-down menus for region, positions and job post times.

How do I print a job posting?
Depending on which browser you are using simply click "File" then "Print", alternatively you can try pressing CTRL + P

Does MO Teaching Jobs ensure that job postings are from reputable institutions?
All job postings are from educational institutions that are paying a fee to post their openings on the MO Teaching Website.  Most of the openings are school districts, private schools, higher educational institutions and day cares.

How can I report a questionable job posting?
You can report on any questionable job postings by submitting an e-mail through our "Contact Us" page.

Apply for Jobs:

What happens when I apply online for a job that's posted on MO Teaching Jobs?
Once you've applied for a job at MO Teaching Jobs your application is linked to the institution that you applied for, the institution then views all applicants, their information and either calls or emails to move forward with any potential interviewes.

Do I need to have a MO Teaching Jobs member account to apply for jobs?
Yes as an applicant you must register your account to apply for positions.

Do I need a resume to apply to a job posting?
You must fill out your resume completely to apply for open positions

How can I track the jobs I've applied for?
Start by clicking "Jobs Applied For" on the MO Teaching Jobs navigation bar, or by clicking "Already Applied For" at the bottom of the page.

I forgot my username and/or password. How can I log into my account?
Click on the "Forgot your password?" link below the applicant login screen. From here you will be brought to the "Account Information Reminder", enter your email address or username, and we will send you an email with your account information, including a new temporary password that you can use to login.

If you are unable to provide your username or you no longer have access to the e-mail address associated with your account you may contact us via the "Contact Us" page.

    • E-mail Address
    • Account Name

We will reply with a temporary password.

How can I update my account information?
You can update your account information once you are logged in, simply click on the "Account Info" link on the MO Teaching Jobs navigation bar, or by clicking "Account Info" at the bottom of the page.
