Gasconade County R-1 is accepting applications for the position of Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent. Apply now to be a part of a great team! The successful candidate will support and facilitate all areas of work of the Office of the Superintendent, including serving as the recording secretary for the GCR-1 Board of Education. The ideal candidate will be experienced in handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks and will be able to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a small office of diverse people and programs. The ability to interact with staff and patrons in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient; must be able to assist in any area needed. A high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important. This is a 12-month position with a comprehensive salary and benefits package, including retirement (vesting required).
