Description:  OPEN POSITION: Human Resources Coordinator START DATE: Flexible - No later than June 1, 2024 SALARY RANGE: $56,538 - $65,138 annually, 240 day position APPLICATION DEADLINE: Open until filled - selection process begins March 26, 2024 PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Human Resources Coordinator plays a pivotal role in administering benefit plans for employees within the Lincoln County R-III School District. This encompasses coordinating, implementing, and maintaining various programs, including but not limited to group health insurance, supplementary group insurance, and voluntary insurance offerings. Additionally, the Coordinator spearheads the development and maintenance of the District's staff wellness initiative. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred. 60 hours of college credit is required. Requires three to five years of progressive experience in human resources, benefit plan administration, or an equivalent function encompassing a multi-task position that processes highly confidential information. Experience in coordinating employee benefits and leave programs in a school district or similar environment is advantageous. Proficiency in relevant software applications, including financial, leave management and/or online benefit management systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, implement, and administer comprehensive benefits programs for employees. Develop and maintain a variety of employee leave programs ensuring comprehensive coverage and adherence to relevant regulations and policies. Provide administrative support for leave of absence cases, managing processes related to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and Board Policies 4310, 4320, and 4321. Coordinate all cases and claims efficiently, overseeing general administration, comprehensive case management, and program compliance with board policies and employment laws. Partner with building administration and HR Director for resolution strategies. Compile reports for external agencies and third-party providers. Handle requests for confidential and/or sensitive information with discretion. May assist with processing applications for full and part-time positions through the applicant management system. May review applications for required information, including, as appropriate, transcripts. Enter information into applicant tracking systems, ensuring up-to date information.
