| Description: | The Cole County R-1 School District, Russellville is accepting applicants for the position of JH/HS Assistant Principal. The district is seeking an individual with effective leadership skills that can assist in leading a highly successful secondary school with a track record of high achievement. The assistant principal duties will include great communication skills, evaluations and supervision of teachers, (NEE), assisting coordinating activities and maintaining a learning environment that is conducive to learning, assist supervision monitoring the day to day school operations by acting with integrity while consistently enforcing school policy and procedures, and providing input, ideas for students with behavioral concerns. The candidate must have a master’s degree with an secondary administrator certificate and hold or able to obtain a valid Missouri certificate. Familiarity with the Professional Learning Community model and demonstrated experience with successful leadership is preferred. The Cole County R-1 School District is a Professional Learning Community and operates in a highly collaborative atmosphere focused on highly effective teaching practices with high expectations for staff and students. Preference will also be given to those individuals familiar and experience with student behavioral concerns.
