Gasconade County R-1 is seeking highly qualified student-centered applicants for our Middle School Boys Basketball Program for the 2025-2026 season. Candidates must have the ability to build a strong rapport with students, coaches, and the community. This position will provide mentorship and a culture of positivity, high expectations, and professionalism that will define our students now and in the future.
As a coach, you will be part of a school that has a rich tradition of academic and athletic excellence. This district focuses on teamwork and maximizing the potential of each student. The successful candidate will play an integral role in working collaboratively with fellow basketball coaches in the MSHSAA approved athletic offering for high school students. Experience with the rules, skills, and techniques of MSHSAA basketball is preferred but not required. Previous basketball coaching experience preferred, but not required. 60 hours of college credit strongly preferred; a teaching certificate is preferred but not required.
