| Description: | The Missouri Association of Rural Education has been retained by the Rock Port R-II Board of Education to conduct a search for their next Superintendent of Schools. Rock Port R-II School District is located in Atchison County (Rock Port) in Northwest Missouri. School District Information: Elementary School - (PK-06) o Certified Staff 27 o Student Enrollment 199 High School (07-12) o Certified Staff - 21 o Student Enrollment 160 Annual Operating Budget $ 4,949,599.00 Total Tax Levy - $4.9202 (Includes DS of $.8625) Assessed Valuation - $63,701,394.00 Reserve Balances 45.91% Administrators 3 Support Staff 22 MSIP: Fully Accredited District Operated Transportation District Contracted Food Service Opaa! Food Management Other Programs: o MARE Outstanding Rural School District 2022-2023 o Elementary School National Blue Ribbon School 2017 o 4 Day School Week o A+ Program/Dual Credit through NWMSU, UMKC & MWSU o 1:1 Technology Initiative o Project Lead the Way Distinguished School 2019 & 2021 Application Time Line: Applications must be received by Wednesday, December 28, 2022 Screening to begin Ongoing during the application period Interviews Tentative Date January 4th & 5th, 2023 Anticipated Hire Date No later than January 12, 2023 Contract Begins July 1, 2023 Salary/Benefits Information: Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience. Salary Range: $95,000-$120,000. Administrative experience required/ Central Office administrative experience preferred. Missouri Superintendents Certificate or eligibility thereof required. Board paid health insurance and life insurance benefits. Initial multi-year contract will be considered District residency is required within 18 months.
